Cellist Li-Wei Qin, a confirmed guest artist for the final 2012 tour in October next year, has pulled out of this scheduled 5th tour. Informing Artistic Director Kathryn Selby this week that he would be unable to honour his commitment, Li-Wei cited a date conflict with an obligation to his music school in Singapore.
Selby & Friends is therefore delighted to announce that TRIOZ member, cellist Emma-Jane Murphy, will return to Australia from Europe for this tour to replace him. As a result, the previously advertised program may be slightly altered, and details will be announced early next year.
