Originally published in Australia by Turton & Armstrong and reprinted by the prestigious publishing house of Hollitzer Vienna, this book explores the life of Mozart's wife, a strong-minded woman from a family of accomplished musicians whose "business acumen was such that after Mozart's death she was largely responsible for keeping his music before the public, organising concerts, securing the accurate publication of many of his works, including the Requiem and acquiring patronage. Importantly, this book restores the reputation of a woman much maligned by history."
