2015 Season Overview
Our ninth season boasts yet another extraordinary collaboration between Australian and international artists who come together to create memorable performances of beloved masterpieces, large and small.
Thriving in a festival-like atmosphere, Selby & Friends concerts create a strong and intimate connection with our audience allowing the performers to share not only their brilliance and flair but also warmth, humour and personal musical experiences. 2015 welcomes back many favourite artists and we are delighted to present several stunning new guests artists whose performances are much anticipated.
Selby & Friends continues its wonderful cooperation with ABC Classic FM in recording Beethoven’s chamber music for an exciting radio series, so once again you may notice a decided emphasis on the great master this season. Fostering young talent is a priority with our Development Artist program and as always, young people 14 years and under are admitted free to our concerts.
We are committed to presenting concerts of the highest quality which leave us breathless and excited and I hope you will join me and my friends for another season of music and magic in 2015.
